NM Department of Veterans Services to host Valencia County veterans’ benefits outreaches

The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services will host veterans’ benefits outreaches in Valencia County in March, April and May.

NMDVS Veterans Service officer Theresa Zuni will be at the following locations to help veterans with their VA or state veterans’ benefits needs:

Los Lunas: From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays, March 2 and April 6, and Friday, May 5, at the Los Lunas State Campus, building 3/Foster Grandparents building.

Isleta Pueblo: From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Wednesdays, March 8, April 12 and May 10, at the Tribal Administration building at Tribal Road 40/Bldg. 117A.

Belen: From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays, March 22, April 26 and May 24, at the state DVR Department building, 911 W. Castillo Ave.

The Santa Fe Vet Center Mobile Unit will also be present at all March outreaches. Vet Center Outreach specialist Robert Romero can provide information and counseling referrals for VA mental health counseling services.
